24th & 25th October: BEST weekends rule!!

Well, actually this weekend started on Friday night, when Dário arrive to the city. 20 minutes sooner than expected cuz the bus leave 15 minutes sooner than schedule from the airport :P Since there was no point in going to the dorms and then going back to the city, we just head to the Latin Quarter to find Sidebar and stayed there – and I had a great cocktail, with ice cream, mint liqueur and Oreos among other things I don’t remember :P [no, that was not the reason!! The ingredients were in Danish and I didn’t really get what they were].

On Saturday we went to Odense to meet Onur – who I hadn’t seen in about 2 ½ years… It was a great relaxed afternoon in a small city, in great company. It included having lunch at Sunset Boulevard (sandwiches plus french fries with oreganos), a visit to Hans Christian Andersen museum and strolling around the city knowing stories about some places from a “local” :) We even met some Dutch guys who were studying in Århus but had gone to Odense to spend the weekend eheh

Back to Århus we had lasagne for dinner, with extra-extra salad :P The night ended in Social Club, with Ivo and his roommates – at least for part of the time, as they stayed in a room with a DJ with awful music transitions, not to mention jumping from style to style [and playing “I’m Yours” in a disco at 1 a.m. was just *strange* for us], and we moved back to the hip-hop/ techno room. I must say that room has a lot of potential of entertainment, as it was very funny to watch some of the “moves” going there. Guys trying to get girls and vice-versa and the truly top part of seeing a girl going to such an extreme she was actually dumped – but like, it was the biggest turn down we had ever seen [ok, it was also the biggest “offer” we had ever seen too lol and probably the same for the guy who turned her down and his friend]. We headed for the bus stop before 4 am [new time] and we found out the buses were still running in the old time when it didn’t came :P Result: we had to take a taxi home.

Sunday was a relaxed day, spent around Århus and with the first [and likely the last] visit to MacDonald’s here :P This time the bus didn’t leave 15 minutes earlier, but as we didn’t want to risk it, we went to the bus stop quite earlier. And then I headed back home.
An interesting fact: they had foreseen rain for the weekend, but it didn’t rain up to the moment the airport bus left :P And Sunday afternoon was a very sunny one!!
